Before they were Stars
Matt and Jeff were born in Cameron, NC and grew up during the 80s, back when WWF was popular with stars like the Ultimate Warrior. On Christmas morning in 1987 Matt and Jeff received a large trampoline from which they assembled a ring out of various materials. As young boys, they diligently practiced their aerial assaults and other maneuvers. They held simulated Pay-Per-Views in their TWF(Teenage Wrestling Federation) with the WWF as their inspiration. The Hardy Boyz earned a reputation in Cameron and wrestled in a few independant organizations before finally making it to the WWF. One such organization was an indy promotion called OMEGA wrestling. They became head bookers and wrestled under different gimmicks. Jeff wrestled as Wolverine and Willow the Wisp and Matt wrestled as Surge the Destroyer.
For the time Being
So far, the highlight of their journey has been the tag team gold from which they won for the first time from the Acolytes and have won back in more recent months. Matt has also had Hardcore Belt and most recently Jeff has been involved with the Intercontinental Title. The Hardyz have had great matches such as the ladder match with Edge and Christian and the table match with the Dudleys. The Hardy Boyz have yet to win the title again, but it will happen. It's been a great past, but the Hardy Boyz future is even brighter. Both TLC matches have brought the Boyz great accolades. Their current teaming with Lita (Amy Dumas) is one that will help them to become an even better tag team. Recently, the Hardyz and Lita have reached main event status, an accomplishment they more than deserve. Still, people don't think they have any talent and steal moves. They see Lita as "trashy" and just part of the scenery. However, the Hardyz and Lita have proven time and time again that they truly are the best and really love their fans.
In The Future
The Future could hold many things for the Hardyz. I see a long tag team title reign in the future as well as many more TLC and Intergender matches. The Hardyz are by far the best tag team in the WWF when it comes to high risk moves. The Hardyz are at the top and won't come down any time soon.
